Indeed. Speaking for myself, having watched a fairly distant relative
deteriorate into a barely passable life and then, with just a little
horror, experienced an episode or two that makes me modestly question
what path I might be on, an occasional Alzheimer's joke becomes a
survival/sanity mechanism. (Last one to the Aricept is a ... uh, I
forget!)
