Aruba Inventory

Just got back from a family vacation in Aruba and had a little bit of
free time to check out of the inventory on the island.

I checked about 75% of the machines in the casinos and at least one in
each bank so it should be pretty accurate but I might have missed the
odd "mistake".

MARRIOTT
Had one $1 NSUD slant-top and one 25c NSUD slant-top. The 25c was
unplugged the entire time I was there and might be on the way out.
The $1 machine was very slow with built-in double up option. I would
think 300 - 400 hands an hour would be the best you could get. Comps
were 1%.

HOLIDAY INN
I had high hopes but was sadly disappointed. There were only about 15
VP machines in casino. I found nothing playable at 25c level and two
$1 pickem machines (one upright and one old slant-top).

HYATT
Nothing playable

OCCIDENTAL
One old 25c 9/5 Triple bonus plus.

RADDISON
About six $1 9/6 JOB machines scattered around casino. Another six
25c 9/6 JOB scattered around casino. I found only two side by side.

WESTIN
Nothing playable

RENAISSANCE
Easily the best inventory. A bank of Six 25c 9/6 JOB with progressive
royal. Four old slant-tops with $1 AA.

In general the casino's were nice but the machines were not very well
looked after.

Very impressive scouting report ... kudos. Out of curiosity, were
machines standard make (like IGT) or off brands not generally seen NV?

Lots of Game Makers and Game Kings (IGT). I never saw any non-standard
machines. They were old though.
