Arizona Charlie's

Got a question for the group. In the ACG they mention about the ACE
reward card reimbursing up to $100 in losses on the first day for new
sign ups. Anybody know anything about the casino and this program? Has
anyone from the group done this? Is it worth the time? We fly in at
10:00 AM and check into the Hilton at 4:00 PM. We thought this might be
a good way to kill a few hours. Any thoughts and comments are
appreciated.Thanks.

I had my kids sign up for it whem we took them last year. One got
reimbursed for $100 in losses and the other won over $100 so didn't get
to use it, but they thought it was worth it.

I have a slot club card from 3-4 years ago that I had from the Strat
when Ariz. Charlie's card was same as the Strat's. I believe these
casino's are seperate now. I have never gotten a card at Ariz. Charlies
specifically. Anybody know if I would be eligible for this promotion?

I did the same thing last trip. Spent 2 or 3 hours there before my room was ready at MGM. I never got to take advantage of the reimbursement because I walked out when I was up 200. I went to the Decatur location, and I will warn you that it is extremely smoky, even mid-morning.

Stratosphere & Arizona Charlie's continue to use the same slot card.
Unless your membership expired due to no play, you wouldn't be
eligible for the sign-up promotion at Charlie's.

I was just in Las Vegas last week and called AC to ask about this. I
had a Stratosphere card from July 2005 and since I was still in their
system, I couldn't take advantage of the offer. So that made me not
visit the casino at all since I had other local casinos I was
exploring on this trip. It seems like if the point is to get people
into their casino, they would make that offer good for once each year.
