Was at Arizona Charlie's Decatur yesterday and saw a
sign that said they have a new paycheck cashing
promotion that began 12/26. I didn't get a copy of the
new rules but chances are it isn't anywhere near as
good as the old promo. I know folks (not me) who
played it every day by cashing a $100 personal check
and playing $1 10/7 double bonus just until they got
the 40-coin bonus for a quad. lol. I do know the new
promo involves swiping your "Ultimate Rewards" card.
Sign also said something about bringing in your old
unused paycheck scratch cards that spell "Arizona
Charlie" (without the winning "z" of course) to get
drawing tickets.
BTW I played the 25c slant-top full-pay deuces and
couldn't get anywhere near the $2 coin-in per point
that Compton-Dancer reported in their 12/20 Player's
Edge column. I got more like $2.75 per point. These
machines are so slow that they are boring.
