Got a question for the group. In the ACG they mention about the ACE
reward card reimbursing up to $100 in losses on the first day for new
sign ups. Anybody know anything about the casino and this program? Has
anyone from the group done this? Is it worth the time? We fly in at
10:00 AM and check into the Hilton at 4:00 PM. We thought this might be
a good way to kill a few hours. Any thoughts and comments are
appreciated.Thanks.DB

You might want to confirm any new member sign-up promo for an ACE card
property. Four casinos use the same card. Two two Ariaona Charlies, the Strat and
the Aquarius in Laughlin are tied together. The American Casino Entertainment
properties were recently sold to anthor outfit...Carl Ichan had them for
awhile.
Down in Laughlin the new sign-up deal has changed several times. Sometimes
there is a representative handing out $10 Free-play coupons on the Riverwalk.
The AQ recently ran a new-sign-up deal for five weeks that was part of a Coke
promo. They usually default to a $100 free-play and other goodies deal with a
certain amount of play in the first day. This was not a rebate on losses,
but the voucher was not good until a week after signing up, good for 360 days.
So check with the particular outlet. You can expect marketing to send you
mail for Vegas and Laughin if you are a strong player.
Also, if they find you in the system (Strat, Charlies, AQ/Flamingo) you
might not be considered a newbie. Plead ignorance to help your case.
