Arizona Charlies Major Cashback Change

Charlies has a letter at the slot club:

Effective January 22, all properties (Charlies, Strat, Aquar in
Laughlin) will use the same card.

THE PRESENT ACTION CASH PROGRAM IS DROPPED.

New cash back will be available daily, but at DRASTICALLY reduced
rate compared to present Action Cash ...

New program ... 1 point per $1 on slots, 1 point per $2 in on VP ...
600 points will equal a $1 cash back.

With sufficient play (similar to current 1000 points per week), there
will be a WEEKLY mailer with additional cash back/food comp coupons.
(BUT WILL THE ADDITIONAL MAKE UP FOR THE LARGE DROP ... see
calculations below ...)

Additional perks for top players (ie,current black card) will be
added in APRIL ... Charlies is open for suggestions as to what these
should be.

There will be 3x points from Jan 22 to the end of Feb.

Comps were not mentioned ... floor people say they will still build
up separately like present ... but unknown if $ in per comp dollar
will change.

Here's a comparison: (KEEP IN MIND THAT PRESENT AND THE NEW POINTS
ARE NOT EQUAL ...)

For current 2500 points per week, a player now gets $50 back the
following week ($10 M-F). In addition, there are monthly mailers
with $ back each weekend and a couple of food coupons.

Currently, $ in per point varies by machine. I'll use the example of
some of the machines needing 2 hands (quarters) per point. So to get
2500 points a week, 5000 hands are now needed ... $6250 coin in.
Under the new program, that $6250 will get 3125 points ... or JUST
OVER $5 VS THE CURRENT $50 ACTION CASH for the same weekly play.

The new program adds a little cash back for the out-of-towner that
usually misses out on the current Action Cash the following week.

But the big question is how Charlies will tweek the new weekly
mailers to make up the difference between the new cashback rate and
the current Action Cash ... also, will multiple point days be the
norm (like Sams, Stations, Palms, etc) ... will upper level players
eventually get more multiple point days (again like Sams, Stations,
etc).

Whether or not this program helps or hurts will be how Charlies
handles the unknowns ...
