The new progam starts Monday ... it was previously announced that
slots would be $1 in per point, VP would be $2 in per point ... 600
points per dollar cashback.
100%+ VP WILL HAVE ITS OWN RATE OF $8 COIN IN PER POINT ... still 600
points per dollar cashback ... so $4800 coin in per $1 cashback under
the new system. (There will still be some additional cash via weekly
mailings, but no specifics are known).
I understand Monday will start a long session of 3x point days. A word of
warning. About a year and a half ago Charlie's Boulder had an unannounced double
point day. . If you happened to show up you got double points but... There
was a snafu in the computers and no double points registered. I complained to
the very nervous players club reps and they assured me the computer guy had
all the info and would post it correctly later on in the day. Everything
worked out in the end but this is a bigger deal than that.
My take on the new system is they want to be in competition with Sam's 6x
points and Boulders 5x points. If Charlie's is real smart they will go to 7x and
once in a while 10x but... that would mean hiring the Ellis Island little
white sign crew to paste notes on the 150 or so machines that have Jack's 9/6
"These machines are excluded from multiple point days"
