Are we all barking up the wrong tree?

I just received my year end stock report, and once again had a nice
year financially. I cannot say the same about video poker. I have spent
more time practicing and analyzing VP plays, than studying stocks. I
think that most people that try to come out ahead in the VP endeavor
are above average intelligence, but I wonder why they have not moved on
to a more lucrative field.

I see VP plays reduced and it is getting tougher and tougher to grind
out a profit out there. How about Poker? This sure seems like an easy
way to make a few bucks from all the tourist that come to town with a
bankroll, and experience in only watching all the TV poker games. Are
they not ripe for the fleecing?

I still play VP, because I like it very much. However, it looks like my
stock expertise will have to subsidize my VP play.

Are all the good days behind us?

Excellent post ! Very well stated. I think you are definitely barking up the right tree with your own conclusions.
