Are these machines gaffed or what?

I got croaked (again) last night, and I noticed something peculiar about the cards I was being dealt on the draw. Despite having numerous hands that were dealt four-to-the-flush, I picked up the full flush only very few times, and more interestingly, I found that I NEVER ONCE drew the same card (denomination) with a different suit than I had turned in! "Just ONCE", I asked, only barely quietly enough so that the passers-by wouldn't cower in fear, "just ONCE will this infernal machine simply exchange my five of spades for a five of diamonds!?". But it never happened.

I've been tracking this for an almost infinite amount of occurrences (well, like 20 or so) and I feel I can safely say that the machines are programmed never to release a card of the same denomination in a different suit. Has anyone else noticed this anomaly?

Dude. Seriously.

THIS IS NOT AN ANOMALY!

-You've seen five cards
-Four of these are suited
-1 card to draw
-9 cards fill your flush = 9/47 =
-38 cards DO NOT fill your flush = 38/47

That's more than a 4-to-1 ratio on how often you should *not* make your
flush.

Oh, but you have a whole 20 samples to compare it to . . .

My last trip was brutal. I forgot my good luck charm,
I guess. After losing almost $1500 playing quarter
8/5 bonus and NSUD over a long weekend, I was fiddling
around on my last afternoon and was dealt 4 to the
royal. Yes! The VP gods were finally showing some
compassion! All I needed was the King of Diamonds and
the world would be right again. I hit draw, my buddy
began to yell - it was the KING - of hearts. Curses,
foiled again. I did make $5 on my straight
though......sigh.

Jigger

One of the nice things about being unemployed is that
you don't have to wash your hands after using the
restroom.

"All I ask is a chance to prove that money can't make
me happy."

"When the only tool you own is a hammer, every problem
begins to look like a 20-penny nail."

"My weight is perfect for my height -- which varies."

"I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure."

"The cost of living hasn't affected its popularity."

"It's not an optical illusion. It just looks like
one."

"Is it my imagination, or do Buffalo wings taste like
chicken?"
