Aquarius

There is now a wifi signal floating around the Aquarius called "guest wifi" or something like that. It's free. I picked it up at McDonald's, maybe it's available throughout the casino. The new coffee/wine shop replacing Starbucks still isn't open.

I'm down here too. I asked yesterday if I could pick up the free wifi in the VIP lounge and was told no. Sooo..for right now, McDonald's is it. The good news...I was also told yesterday that when the new coffee shop opens it will continue the wifi.

I hope the new coffee shop has wi-fi and better coffee than the temporary coffee stand near the giftshop. But it was nice to see the same workers as at Starbucks. Found out they work for Aquarius so stayed. And got my refills like before for 50 cents.
But oh-noz that coffee sucks.

The new place is going to offer wine, sandwiches and pastries. Maybe like the coffee/wine joint at the LVH ((Las Vegas Hotel (Hilton)).
That's would be good but for coffee - Starbucks hard to beat.

As I said in my post, the new coffee shop will have free wi-fi. I've actually been having very good latte's at the coffee stand, though. Maybe it's just what I've been ordering...vanilla lattes.

I do hope the café has better coffee than Starbucks. I am not one of those special drink people. So, this past trip I went to McDonalds and it was very good coffee. I may just keep going there because its cheaper and hotter and taste better.

talking about coffee, just got back from 2 days at Aquarius Laughlin:
a. the temporary coffee stand outside of the elevators is not very good, unless you like cold coffee with 1/2 starbucks flavor and starbucks prices ?
b. That particular Mcdonalds is pretty good
c. you cant beat the free coffee inside the players lounge
d. Was there for day 1 of the River Run ( weds ) . It only gets hairy on Friday and Saturday, so if you want a Melba toast experience of biker hog heaven, leave before Friday.

...Best ...Tom
