AQ offers? - Orange level

Hi fellow vp-players:

I recently made Orange tier (10 tier pts, approx 10K?) mix of JB/BP games and minimal penny slots (accrue tier quicker).

My usual offers are 1 free night and $15 freeplay ; I’m ok with paying for an extra night ($25 or less, tx only, NO resort fee!). SO 2 nights/$28 or so is pretty decent.

Not much in comps yet; but at least I’m starting to accrue 2x/pts so will begin to accrue faster; fortunately I have plenty (from live poker play at CBelle next door). I also like the meal deals at the Riverside (old school- not many around like Riverside anymore, deli specials are cheap enough, and ok if on a budget…).

AQ- out of the blue, rec’d a pcard offer 2 free nights Apr-June 2017; No freeplay or anything else though;

I haven’t quite figured out marketing / offers yet; For this out-of-towner, the free nights are what I was hoping for, anything else added (freeplay) is a bonus.

A friend of mine (retiree couple in AZ) is higher established Orange player, and he gets $25/day freeplay with 2-3 free nights regularly; He also gets invites to special concert events as a pkg with hotel stays (2-3 free nights). Last holiday season, he even had 5 extra free nights for friends (I accepted one of the nights and gave another coupon to a friend). this was quite generous for his offers.
I think he mainly plays about 1/2-2/3 on BP games (JW too), 1/3 on the 100% banks.

ANYONE else care to report on what offers they receive for Orange tier ?

I’m trying to decide if it’s worth pursuing for another year or not (10k+ is alot for out-of-towner, although can be done in a few 2-3 nights stays).

My offers were either 1 night and $15 FP or just 2 free nights when I was at orange level a few years ago, playing a mixture similar to yours. Maybe once a year a $25 FP offer would show up.

I found that the Trop was easier to get free nights and only a short walk over to AQ

My current offers for reaching orange back in November are : $75 free play and 3 nights until 7/17. Only visit Laughlin on comped Harrahs charters out of Buffalo,NY maybe twice a year. Laughlin is my favorite casino gambling town. Will be back April 25 for three days.

does anyone have an idea how much play is required to earn a tier point at AQ? is there a combo of things such as coin in and time played? av daily play? any other thoughts?

Expect crowds, lines, traffic, and full parking garages during your trip due to the river run. I was shocked how different Laughlin is during this event!

My wife and I visited AQ last month. She was orange when we went.

She is now Red after 3.5 days of gambling 90% on VP/10% on slots.

50% on ~FP Prog DDB/50% on the evil STP 9/6 25 cent 5 play DDB aka Devil game.

Aquarius is the best casino in Laughlin; maybe in all Nevada; perhaps in the entire country. Food is great; their customers are well treated in a clean, safe, cheery joint. We gambled ~$40K/day.

River Run is an insane experience. Safe enough to walk around looking at the hogs, the bikers and their “old ladies.” They are very old, Time has not treated this crowd well but their bike$ are awe$some. Looks like mostly hard working middle class folks. Their was one stabbing last year and believe it was across the river.

We live in Washington State where all the VP is FAKE. Throw away a straight and you get a bonus equal to the hand you tossed. We save our bankroll for Vegas and sometimes Oregon casinos.

Although all the hosts are women, their manager is male and might have recently changed. Just got an offer of $400 FP, suite and all food comped.
