No hitches in travel nor accomodations in Reno.
Departed 3PM Thurs, 4/3 returned 10PM Monday 4/7.
I pretty much never left the Silver Legacy
Hotel/Casino from 5:15PM Thurs until 7PM Mon.
I got in 52 hours of video poker in 100 hours in Reno,
including About:
25 hrs at the $0.25 level (FPdeuces wild, DDB & jokers wild);
25 hrs at the $1.00 level (all DDB this time) &
2 hrs at the $5.00 level (9/6 Jacks or Better JoB).
Jackpots over $200:
0.25:
1-$200 Quad A's DDB
3-$250 Quad wild deuces
2-$500 Quad A w/2,3,4 kicker
1.00:
14-$250 Quad 5-K
2-$400 Quad 2,3 or 4
6-$800 Quad A or Quad 2,3,4 w/A,2,3,4
1- $2000 Quad A w/2,3,4
5.00:

1-$625 Quads
Oh yeah,...
I hit the Royal.
On a dollar DDB machine...
*****$4263.00*********
I hit it about 3:30 Sunday afternoon. Having the cashier/
attendant count out 42-$100's into your palm is fairly thrilling,
I got to admit. I TRIED to be cool.
Six hours of "not-hittin'-much" at $1 DDB cost me about $1700 after
the Royal. And it only took about twenty minutes to lose $500 at
the $5 percoin JoB's, post-Royal. (Note to self: next time I hit a
Royal, retreat fully to the quarter level).
So, I "only" came home with a $900 profit this trip.
Here's my daily hours, (daily net results) and day-end Tour tallies:
Day 1 - 7 hrs - +$2600
2 - 16 hr ! - (-550) = +$2050
3 - 12 hr - (-2350) = -$300
4 - 12 hr - (+2500) = +$2200
5 - 7 hrs - (-1100) = +$1100
minus 200 tips = +$900 TRIP total
The most I had to dip into my own funds was about $600 after the
first 2 hrs of gaming and then again I was $600 IN when I hit
the Royal. <Whew>
Too Much Info, I know, but if you're still reading, you might enjoy
it: Royal, held 3, in clubs QJA_ _ drew T K.
For the trip, after "about" a dozen times, I started counting: I had
34 4-part- Royals, maybe 8 of them on the deal.
I also never hit a natural straight flush, other than the 1 Royal.
I spent about two hours playing 0.25 FP Joker Poker
on a great bank of machines: multi-game slant-tops near the
Keno area. . Nice game, I may add it to my growing "repertoire".
I'll make a separate note to add the info to the vpfree database.
Oh yeah - POINTS - it takes $20 "coin-in" to earn 1point. I earned
about 5500 points this trip. The readout on the machine only gives
you your daily total - they changed it, you used to get your overall
total also.
R/T airfare from Seattle was $170 on SouthWest. I enjoyed Comped
room & board for the 4 nights/ 5 days.
Cheers, I got more info if you want it, e-mail me.
