Brad just got a better-than-average offer from Harrah’s Tahoe for April/May. I guess I am a bit paranoid - actually a lot really!! But I was wondering if anyone has played the 9/6 JoB machines there since Feb. 1 and knows that they do not have the dreaded “stickers” - saying it takes more points to earn one tier credit than on other VP machines.
Also, are they still running a senior day offer? Mondays? And if so, what is the promo - multiplier for tier points or reward credits?
TIA
Jean Scott
Jean,
I was there in December and they have the dreaded stickers.

It pays to be paranoid!!! There was no report on this that I had read and isn’t on vpFREE2. So…how much coin-in DOES it take to earn one tier credit? And is this sticker on ALL machines that contain 9/6 JoB. What about 8/5 Bonus? Stickers on that game?
Jean,
Sorry I misread your post. I received a nice offer from Harrah’s Tahoe last fall and the 9/6 JoB machines do not have the dreaded stickers. I stopped at Harrah’s Reno and saw they recently put in some 9/6 JoB, these machines do have the dreaded stickers. The Lake Tahoe 9/6 machines have been there a long time and they may be the last decent VP at any Harrah’s/Caesars property. My visit was early December so I hope someone can provide more recent information.

Whew - that was a relief post!!!
I hope someone has recent info about my other question - Are they still running a senior day offer? Mondays? And if so, what is the promo - and is the multiplier for tier points or reward credits?

The Silver Circle promotion for seniors in Tahoe ended with the new year. Harrah’s Reno has a 3x video poker reward credit multiplier on Thursdays for all who swipe. Although the website for Harrah’s Tahoe shows a similar promotion, it doesn’t reflect the days it’s in effect.
I hope to be there next week. I’ll provide an update.

Thursday multiplier appears unchanged from last year.

Harrah’s websites are so often not very clear. The first link below mentions this is a Thursday promo but then if you click for more information from that link, it does not specify Thursdays. Then the 2nd link doesn’t mention a specific day at all.

I will appreciate any personal updates/verifications from posters here who will be at Harrah’s Tahoe the next couple of weeks. Perhaps there will be a new senior promo or other all-age promos??? Seems we have to depend on personal reports since website info is not always complete or helpful. Brad’s offer is for April/May and we want to make reservations soon. I know that is a slow time for Tahoe - between the ski and summer seasons - so I wouldn’t be surprised if some new promos pop up.
Appreciate all the help we can get here. I try to share as much info as I can, mostly putting it in my blog which then comes here. That seems to be the best way to reach a wider audience.
