anyone win in the MS slot tournament?

I had the lowest score in my session of the slot tournament but not low enough to win the booby prize. Lost almost $200 at MS but went over to Harrah's EC with my mom to play the Fast Action. Before yesterday I had never been dealt a quad on that game but it happened twice in my 40 minutes of play . One set of nines and a set of fours. The fours did not have a low card with them and the 60-1 shot did not occur on the draw. Still the win of $960 on that game was not hard to take! With the dealt royal at about $34k and dealt aces + low at about $9100 this game was barely positive. (My fours reset that progressive from $738 back to $600.)

Other than tendonitis I have nothing to show for my participation.

My plan was to grind Multi-Strike afterwards and then hit Hi/Lo Omaha
in Trump's poker room. I was given bad info at Trumps in the morning,
the Hi/Lo Omaha gets going around 4pm not in the evening as they told
me. As a result I showed up after a waiting list had already formed.
Rather than twiddling my thumbs at Trumps I returned to MS only to
find all my favorite Multi-Strike machines occupied. I ended up
playing 100 play BDLX and $.25 5 play NSUD. Both were profitable.
Later the Multi-Strike machines freed up and added to my profit for
the day. My first significant vp win in quite a while (with no multi
points promotion going on either). 'Guess I won't have to summon the
gaming board just yet.

Why was it so busy today? Was this all spillover from the slots
tournament or is it usually busy on Saturdays?

Congrats.

2 questions:

1. What is "Fast Action"?
2. What's the word on the upcoming quarter progressive? What games
will be included?

fast action are multplay 3/5 where the regular pay schedules are
reduced but this is compensated for by having high pays for dealt 4
of a kind and royals

I almost wish the new bar tops were not .25 progressives...it's nice
to hit one right before the $1200 line but I would rather have a
$1000 hit than a $12XX hit...they rarely get far beyond $1200 to make
the w-2 worthwhile

Congrats.
