That's pretty much what I do (and I certainly don't consider myself a
professional). I have my favorite casinos and I won't play where it's smoky or
gritty no matter what the inducements. I do take advantage of what's offered
and play advantage (or nearly so) machines that make the whole experience
positive in expectation between the return from the machine and the cashback/other
promotions.

I agree with both statements below. It greatly adds to my enjoyment
to take advantage of promotions, CB, free play and comps, but if I'm
not having fun with where/what I'm playing, I leave. As Karen stated,
I also look for the best possible paytables to play. As much as I
enjoy playing vp, I don't think that I would play an 8/5 JOB non-prog.
I would save my bankroll until I could get to a destination with
better opportunties. Despite this, I only play for "fun". It's just
that it's more fun for me, when I have a better chance of coming ahead.

However, with vp as with every other choice that must be made,
everybody should do what their own heart and mind dictates.

Best regards,

Babe
