If they are still busy MS has no incentive to change the pay
schedule back. They could care less that the few knowledgable people
will stop playing them as they will more than make it up overall. If
they downgrade the JOB it will be time to say goodbye.

I spoke to my host over the weekend. There is no real chance that the
paytables will be adjusted back to FP on the pick'ems. He said they were losing
money on the machines when you factored in the payback, points awarded and
comps given above and beyond the points. In his words they tweeked the machines
and that their VP is now just like Foxwoods and there is no incentive for
them to have better VP. Unfortunately it makes sense for MS. They were being
hammered hard by some very good VP players. If you went to the $5 machines,
it was often the same players and many of them were there several times a
week or more often. People are still playing the lousy paytables. Someone was
even playing the short $10 machine when I was there. There are alot fewer
playing the $5 machines but the will make more on the ones that were playing
and probably come out ahead.

When you were there did you notice if the bars were busy. When we

there two weeks ago getting a seat was a real problem. The penny
players were taking up most of the seats to get their free drinks. I
guess I will have to go early on Fridays just to get a seat
