I guess my 5,000 pts gets accrued quicker than for VP (that is a
really high threshold!). I looked at my previous year's gaming
report and in December ran $22K through and $18K through in November
(2 day trips each time). So, hopefully they are going to do
something to make it right because that is still a lot of coin
through!

Under the new system I'd barely be able to have 2 buffets a day (for
two)! Supposedly (after I called again and harrassed the host a bit
more) they are going to have some sort of "bonus" system that will be
applied to your next trip. This is supposed to be based on machine
type, length of play, etc. They haven't figured our their "formula"
yet (new system starts May 1st)!

Slot and Keno machines usually earn points at least twice as fast. Both
Harrahs and River Palms it takes twice as much coin to earn a point on VP.

If you are a slot player, RE should be bending over backwards to keep you
happy. Your $10k/day in action should put you in "big fish/small Laughlin pond"
catagory.

If you have any interest to visit other gambling destinations besides
Laughlin go give Harrahs your action one day. Your $10k will earn you instant
Diamond card status down there. Offers across the country should soon follow.

I'm gonna give the RE a shot under this new system (since apparently
all my whining got me $200 on account before I get there). But I
will definitely try Harrah's if it looks like a bust. Thank you again
for your input!
