Anyone ever play at the "Shoe"

Now and again I get down to the "Shoe" which was my place during the 80's for
single deck blackjack.

I, also , play DB (tp) and have had my share of wins and losses. Recently ,
they had a 2 x points day with six packs of Pepsi for quads. I believe I won
$200 that day for about 2 hours play. No aces or RF but quads and managed a
small win when dealt a quad near the end of the session.

I have hit 2 RF over the past 3-5 years with little play on those triple play
machines always on double bonus. This most recent trip really looked as if
the place is on its last legs. Only one cashier cage (the old section) with
the one of the old Mint side closed. The overall atmosphere of the place was
very depressing.

Too bad after their colorful history as the one place that let you gamble.

Does anybody else not know what or where the "shoe" is?
