anyone been to planet hollywood lately?
I walked through PH about a month ago. Did a quick look at their VP
inventory. I noted about 10-12 dollar 8/5 SLBP machines. They also
had about 2-3 $TPBP. Sorry, I don't recall the locations, but I do
remember that the single line machines were in a regular bank and a
carousel.
Interesting story... My GF decided to throw a Benji into the $TPBP
and within a few minutes hit a Royal on one of the lines. What was
also interesting was that a suit came over to get her ss# and didn't
offer congrats on the hit as they always do at other casinos. I told
my GF.." he seemed upset that you hit the Royal..watch these machines
disappear ! "

Luxor - hi-limit machines still have only 8/5 JoB
MB - there are 3 9/6 JoB machines: (1) $100 JoB, (1) $10 SP JoB, and (1) $1 (100-play) JoB. My host told me that the high-limit area will be moved temporarily to the casino floor so that the high-limit room can be remodeled.
TI - there is a bank of $2/$5 9/6 JoB (3/5/10-play) machines 2 rows away from hi-limit, next to the table games.

For you "new" members who perhaps have not played as much...
Be aware that you do not have to play many 50-play or 100-play
machines at max hands. You can play these machines for fewer hands
(you should still play 5 coins per hand, obviously) and still get the
benefit of that paytable. Read the buttons carefully to get the
sequence down. And be sure not to press MAX COINS unless you want to
play the most available hands. Simply redeal the next hand at your
current level.
The lesser number of hands that you may play is limited. On most
machines it will jump from one up to 10 or more hands, then only two
or three more jumps to max hands. I have not examined this specific
Mandalay Bay machine to see the available options, if any.
