I haven't responded, until now, because this is a troll thread. Ralph is
also hanging out at YPPsycho and may even be one of "them". Are you Ralph?

So, like anyone actually gives a fat rats ass - here we go. I go to LV/Reno
6 to 8 times a year - sometimes solo, sometimes with SWMBO. We are quarter
players. I have 8 quarter royals and she has 1 over the past five years.
We stay for free and eat free or damn close to it. Playing good games in a
great place has changed the way we vacation. Are we "ahead"? No, but we
are right now down about $1000 from our original bankroll. We have been
down as much as $3000 and up as much as $1500 over the years.

You do the math. Are we ahead? For what our objectives are we are way
ahead. The grand poobahs of VPPsycho can rip me all they want - and they
have in the past - but this works very well for me. To each his own.

There are probably more winner's than this. A lot of people don't want to post thier results because god know's whose lurking on this board and will report them to the IRS and get a portion of the loot as a reward.

Right on!

The first thought that came to me is the original poster may even be
an IRS agent ... I would never answer a question like this on a
public forum.

I'm well ahead, but most of the LV locals on the list are - it's
sort of
hard NOT to be if you play enough and have taken full advantage of
the promos and opportunities unless your luck is just plain BAD.

Both are very good points...how much I have won is really no one's
business...except mine and the IRS...as John said...I'm well ahead.

There is also security issues...when playing the $1 and higher
denominations, you have a tendancy to carry "larger then normal"
amounts of cash...I just hate it when you hit a progressive RF and
they count out thousands of dollars if front of everyone and anyone
who happens to be walking by...I ask that they don't count out any
bills are already banded....just quickly and quietly put them in my
pocket.

I wouldn't bet on it.

it's not rocket science
find a percent edge plus and put in at least a quarter mil hands per
year to cover the standard deviation, et viola!

these are concepts you will have to know cold:
ER

variance/standard deviation
bankroll/risk of ruin
# of hands when average = standard deviation
