We spent a reasonable amount of time at the Pioneer around New Year's Eve on two different days. We played the good multi-games.

Will we ever get mail from them?

testpro,

FYI: Our last mailing from the Pioneer was the Dec-Jan Round-up newsletter.

I usually give the Pioneer at least a couple of thousand in play each month -- my last mailer was the Feb-March Roundup newsletter which I recieved on Feb 12th. You can pick a copy near the Roundup club booth and I highly recommend doing so as it contains a $10 match play coupon for this month (1 per club member per month) and for March and there was one for January too in the previous newsletter.

The Pioneer does not send out many love letters. They mail out 6 Round Up newsletters a year, and a birthday offer--- that is it as far as I know.

Speaking of the Pioneer, it is owned by the Archon Company, basically family owned by the Lowden family. Sue Lowden (Archon treasurer) is running for U.S. Senate, and Harry Reid revealed some inside casino information that I found interesting. I am sure there is another side to the "facts"
