My husband and I are planning a trip to Laughlin In March. We used to always stay at the Ramada Express or Edgewater. I have heard the Ramada is now the Tropicana,and the Edgewater is owned by a new company. We play alot of VP ddb and Bonus Poker .25 .50, any thoughts on the best place to stay now and play some vp? How is the new Aquarius? Thanks for your help.

Check the vpFREE2 database for the latest VP info. EW and CB have full
pay 10/6 DDB in quarters. People have reported that the Aquarius have
nice rooms since they were remodeled.

AQ LOOKS really nice (sample bedroom display still in the river entrance, south side past sportsbook.... They also have the 10-6 DDB game on their 100% Optimum machines,
but the comprates/slot pts. are half rate as playing on all the other machines.
Ramada/Tropicana ROOMS (Beds) are very comfy, but I don't think they have any 9-6 ddb. Most are 8-5 DDB or worse....at .25/.50.
EW rooms are just ok, and plenty of .25 8-5 BP.
.50c BP and DDB also available, in the '.50c ' slants behind optimal play bank.
CB also has plenty of .25/.50 BP and some 9-6 ddbs.
ROOMS can be comp'd with decent play at EW/CB.
Probably 2500++ vp play (non-100% bank) would possibly establish a free night or two,
depending on host you talk with....
NEW EW-CB system is $2/pts on vp, $6/pts on 100%, and $1/pt slots.
Base rate of 500 pts = $1 cb or free play AND comp '$' accrue for play.
So .1% cb base for most vp; .03% on 100% games, and .2% base slots
Mon/ Wed are 2x vp pts days/ 5x slots.
1000 pts Tu/Th gets you free $10 Walmart gift cards;
1000 pts Wed gets you their 'gift' of the week/month.
(currently a slider burger pan you can use on stovetop)....

PS - I add in about 4-6 hours LIVE POKER at CB or EW daily;
That's helped to boost my offers somewhat (in addition to $1.25/comp rate hourly in their poker rooms).
