Checking in Sunday (Mar. 4). Any FPDW or LDW at the 25c level left?
Thanks, DDB

No and no, at any level. I was there this morning to do my weekly free play
and both banks now have short pay everything. Did my free play on the 9-7
DB triple play prog and caught quad deuces on one line. For the third time
in five years, it's bye-bye-now Orleans.

Subject: [vpFREE] Any more info on the Orleans changes?
Does anyone else wonder if this little experiment wasn't planned to
intentionally fail? Why put in some of the very highest payback
machines? I'm betting there were some folks at Orleans that thought
they should try some positive machines to attrack more customers. I'm
sure others in management did not want to do this. Now they can PROVE
that putting in postive machines will lose money.
I think many of us would be pleased if they had slightly positive or
almost positive plays. Had they done this instead I'm sure they would
not have gotten as much play and would still have made money.
Maybe we should come up with a list of these games that we would like
to see ...

hmmm...I wonder why those 100+ machines at Green Valley Ranch are
usually empty !?

Simple, with half points, no CB, lower payback games and lower denoms
on these better games they do not attrack the same caliber players.

Perhaps you might consider that the new slot director has been there
5 days and the people who made all the changes are gone.
I was told they have not decided whether to restore 99% machines.

I take it the $.25 10/7 DB's are still there .

Sorry they are not. A reliable report from Nudge on Tuesday stated
everything on the two banks of previous 100% machines is downgraded.
The data base contains the changes.
