Well, this 57 year old boomer and his wife still like to rock and
roll. The last time I visited Laughlin (last summer) we stayed at
River Palms, and there was a great rock covers band at the downstairs
lounge (free incidentally), doing music from the 60s through the 90s.
I'm not ready to restrict my musical tastes to stuff played in the 50s
and 60s when I was a little kid/teen, and still listen to contemporary
music.

The CB Boiler Room currently has the best satilite music/VP play before they
start doing food on the floor. It gets too noisey after 4pm.
I doodled down a recent set:
Jimi
Joe Walsh
AC/DC
Neil Young
Guess Who
Aerosmith
Rod
George Thorougood
Brewer & Shipley
Pink Floyd
ZZ-Top
Rush
Uncle Ted Nugent
I was in heaven. I probably have (had) most of what gets played on vinyl or
8-track.
Also the Boiler Room introduced a greasy bar food lunch menu.

**************
