Any ideas for tier score/points for Mohegan Sun V...

I'm sad to leave the Sun - played there pretty much exclusively since they
opened, but with the current status I have pretty much walked away from
them except for picking up a few free offers. Playing a little bit at
Foxwoods and making more Harrah's trips. I was in Atlantic City in October and
heading back for an overnight the first Saturday in December. My host has
set me up with RFB, there's some full pay VP, they're still giving points and
their Diamond Lounge far surpasses anything that the Sun offers. Have no
intention of going back to the Sun unless some player friendly changes are
made.

Yes, it seems that there is no reward at all unless, MAYBE, IF they feel
like it and IF you lose a bundle.
If you are a big loser, they MAY give you the free rooms and food that
could bring you back ...or they might not, at whim...

Thanks for the advice and info...it is hard to quit something like this,
and I'm sure MS could confirm my contributions over the years if they care
to do so, but in cold reality I have no reason to continue there....

Except that with the massive theo downgrade they put through about a

year ago (estimated @ ~70%), that looks like you'd have to run through
multiple millions in coin-in to get any ratings at all. I base that assumption on
the $480,000 coin-in you need for a six-month Sagamore rating. Using the
DDB EV of 97.87 (9/5), that means at the full theo of 2.13%, you'd have a
theo loss of $10224 for the six months. 9/6 JOB would give you $2208 on the
same amount of play, and I'm sure they'd want at least 4 or 5 times that to
give you Sagamore, even though they're not giving you anything else that
you'd normally be able to get with your points.

Of course they will (supposedly) rate you as a Sachem for a mere loss

(actual) of 30K. I didn't bother to inquire whether that was for 6 or 12
months.Â

At this point it is at the stage where you use your Sagamore or Sachem

benefits until March (for lounge access, free rooms, shows, etc), spend all
your remaining points on shopping, and prepare for the bridge-burning
ceremony on April Fool's Day.

like they used to before tier pts. In other words if your theo is high
enough you can still make sag or sachem. It sounds like you are playing for a
short time and will probably have a low theo and not make it. My wife and I
are done with any serious play there. We might play .25 every once in a
while as the risk reward ratio is no longer there.
