are pretty low rollers (about 3K a day). I'm thinking about setting up
a trip to there as there appears to be lots of good VP games there.
Which of the Reno casinos send out marketing offers for a little play?

Most of them will send you something.
I don't know where your time is best spent as a low roller, since it's been a while since I've been a few hours of quarter play player, but I currently get offers from Silver Legacy, Peppermill, Atlantis, Reno Hilton, Nugget, Boomtown, El Dorado, Siena, Harrah's. If I played other places, I'm sure I'd get offers there too.
Reno Hilton's probably will get you the least in the way of offers for that type of play, I only really started to get offers from them when I put in some $1 action, even though the amount was comarable to my previous $.25 action.
My guess is that Peppermill might do you the best, but there are a number of options in Reno for the low roller.

For 4K/day SL sends offers of 2 comp nights Su-F. Less is casino rate.
For 4K/day Hilton sends a calendar with rates for each date. For all
but summer it's usually 2 comped nights and $25 free play sometimes
includes WEs. In summer it's usually $39-$49.
At Golden Phoenix and Sands, even <1K gets you almost free offers
(i.e. $19 or $29 first night and next night free)
At Siena, I'm guessing 2 or 3K will get you 2 free nights and $25 CB,
plus 5 X points (=.35%)
For 4K Atlants sends a calendar with a few scattered free nights that
must be combined with a paid night. Also a little FP ~$10. The free
night doesn't come off your comp account.
At 4K Peppermill will send you 2 free nights comped Su-Th but these
come off your comp account and you will have nothing left for food.
I've only played a little at Circus Circus, but almost any action gets
you cheap rates.
I'm guessing Cal-Neva doesn't require too much action for free offers.
Keep in mind that it takes several months for these offers to start
showing up.

for nickle fp Atlantis is best bet, lots of 3/5/10 play nickle JOB,
nsud(you can still play only 1 line for .25 a shot) or even 1 line on
the 50, 100 play games for .05 a shot, not recomended but an option.
Pepp has spin poker 9 lines at .01 ,.45 a shot, JOB & nsud.
Most 3/5/10 play are NOT full pay at a nickle however. some 50 100 play
are not full pay unless you play at least .05,
The Fitz has lousy VP, the worse buffet EVER, but the easiest comps so
i have heard
Golden Phoniex may close soon, Cal Neva has only the old riverside
rooms across street. Harrahs is Harrahs
Plz check out the data base for these casinos,
I put in 20k on a 3 day trip at the Pepp & have recived 2 nites spa
suite sun -thur & tower room fri & sat (my comp account would be
deducted so i contacted my host instead)+ $100, better than anything
that Atlantis has sent me despite having a 5 year history with them,
But i do like the Atlantis a lot so i recomend also, espcially if you
like slot touraments & they seem to treat EVRYBODY else nicer than me
; ) but i am going back columbus day weekend.
My suggestions are:
go to the web sites & check them out, email those you like( the Pepp
will answer , Atlantis dont) or call, let them know you are interested
see what they offer, Pepp gave me 3 nites for $39 total the first time
I email them & that was before i even went thru the door the first time
& offer from host dont come off your account.
Research this site for trip reports, use mklpryy24 in search block for
mine,
review your play, you may play more than you think
check out the data base! lots of good info there.
The Pepp may be your best bet ,but maybe not
