Any Circus Circus players out there?

We go to Reno about 4 or 5 times a year and always stay at Atlantis
and Peppermill, but am looking at replacing the Peppermill with
another casino (for obvious reasons).

Errr, not obvious -- what's wrong with Peppermill? Was last there in November and their inventory and everything else about the property seemed fine.

Bad card club, but good free play offers if you can figure out the system.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with another poster -- CC IS A VP
WASTELAND. Free play on bad machines is not something I would
recommend as a long-term strategy.

You got to admit CC did a great job gutting their VP inventory.

Is their freeplay restricted to some machines? Maybe just slots or 8/5
JOB?

After about 6 straight winning trips to the Peppermill,(over the last
15 months) they no longer send me any offers. None of those wins were
larger than $600. My wife still gets offers, but she has a small net
loss there.

No, I think any machine is ok. I used my FP on JOB. They are 100%
TITO now. Unfortunately they did away with tracking your points on
the website. I play very little there since they took out the NSUD,
so I can not confirm the current comps percentage. But I seem to
remember that the announcement of FP was that it was in lieu of comps.

I presume that you know the place is swarming with kids.

Agree that the FP can be used on any machine. While the public areas
are indeed full of families, the casino areas are still subject to NV
gaming laws and that means minors are not allowed to loiter. The Reno-
Tahoe area is more family friendly than Vegas so you're going to see
more kids all over. And CC, with its carnival midway, is a big kids
attraction. Stay away from the midway and you'll avoid most of the
kids.
