Any Circus Circus players out there?

About a year ago I signed up for email offers at Circus Circus. Never
even been to the place. They do send out pretty remarkable email
offers for very cheap room rates ($19, $25) which includes some
freeplay and $65 in Circus Circus bucks. Their information in the data
base says they have .25% in cashback (freeplay?) and .50% in comps.
This seems to be in line (or better) with other properties in the
area. I even saw a email from them offering double points this past
Dec 1-24.

My wife and I mainly play quarter 9/6 jacks or better, and it appears
someone spotted some progressives at the place.

We go to Reno about 4 or 5 times a year and always stay at Atlantis
and Peppermill, but am looking at replacing the Peppermill with
another casino (for obvious reasons).

Are there any regulars or out-of-towners that play there? If so, what
kind of bounceback offers do you get from them (with approx coin-in avg)?

Thanks,
Mike in Little Rock

I've never played enough there to get any offers other than the
postcard you got. However, check their website for offers. The
January website offer is better than the postcard offer in some
respects. Rooms are $30/night ($45WE) with $60FP and funbook plus you
stay in the main tower.

Hi
I use to play Circus Circus, then about 1 year ago, they decimated their VP inventory and its now a VP wasteland.
You'll want to check out JA Nugget, El Dorado, Silver Legacy, and Cal Neva , all of whom
have good deals/offers and plenty of decent inventory for 9/6 players. With the economy going down the drain, Casino's are giving it away to players esp in RENO.

good luck...Tom

Tom: I've only been regularly playing at CC for the last year and a
half so I may not be familiar with how their vp inventory used to be
but I have no problem finding available 9/6 JOB or 8/5 BP machines.
These are multi-game machines for the most part so there may be keno
players on them sometimes.
Mike: the postcard offers from CC seem to be a bit better than the
email offers (haven't checked their website but that's another
option). My play there is no more than $1-2K coin-in per day and I
usually play .25 level single line. I've received free room offers
from them last year(nothing much in free play)- their rooms are
nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Always ask for the North
tower, which is more convenient to the casino area.

Dittos with Fredo. I've had no trouble finding ample 8/5 bp or 9/6 job both downstairs
and upstairs.

new promotion you might have seen on TV -- freereno.com i think --
buy one night and get the next free. So of course the first night is
inflated: $80 fri night at Circus & $85 sat -- still that is $5 off the
$45 + $45 web price. Do not know if you get the FP & fun book. The
other casinos are in the $100+ range per night.

renorules.com is the right web site
