Examples:
In DDB, Full House occurs every 92 hands, Quad 5-K
occurs every xxxx hands...
Even if the Pay Schedules for a particular vp game are
different, is the "Occurs every" number supposed to be
the same? Two weeks ago at the Palms, I saw more
people playing the 9/5 DDB machines when right next to
them is a bank of 12-14 10/6 DDB machines. And just
from watching, I see these players hitting more quads
than those playing the 10/6 machines. hmmm...
It could just be my imagination but my observations
from the last 2 1/2 years (when I walked into a casino
and browse thru the vp areas for about 30 minutes or
so) are as follows:
Before Sept 11, I saw a lot more machines with the
lights on, attendants doing hand-pays for 4 Aces with
or without the kickers, .25 cents progressives usually
getting hit before reaching $1200.
After Sept 11 (especially the last 6 months), I saw a
lot less machines with lights on, much fewer hand-pays
going on, .25 cents progressives going over $1600 or
more.
The vp programs are still the same as when they were
first released many years ago or have they been
changed?
