Thank you, Johnny, for going to the trouble of getting permission and posting
those files.
OK, I apologize for doubting the existence of those articles, as I promised I
would. However...... I see where Anthony Curtis defended Greektown's legal
right to expel players, but nowhere do I see his defending this particular
action itself. Quite the opposite, actually, as he chastises them for the
"overkill" of trespassing them from the property.
Was Greektown right in taking that action in such an extreme fashion?
Absolutely not.
Did they have the right to do it? Sure did, although they're lucky that they
didn't get hammered with a civil action for marching the people out in full
view of everyone present. As well all know here (I hope!), a casino has the
right to trespass anyone, at any time, for any reason not connected to civil
rights.
Do I apologize for doubting the existence of the articles? Bigtime.
Do I apologize for defending Mr. Curtis' writings in those articles prior to
seeing them? Nope, he was right.

I received permission from Adam Fine, of Strictly Slots to post the Anthony
Curtis articles on the Greektown barrings. You can visit Strictly Slots
through www.casinocenter.com.These are scans of a copy so they are a little hard to read. They do print
out better than they appear on screen. The 2 articles are posted in the files section of vpfree.
