Who said anything about selling comps? You're the first to mention it. I give
gift cards as gifts!

Get a food comp for any amount at the slot club. Take it to the Coffee Bean
in the Food Court. In exchange for the comp you can get a gift card, good at
any of the five Las Vegas area Coffee Beans, for the amount of the comp.
Should be a great gift for those into the fancy/blended/hot/cold/coffee/tea thing!
The stores also sell bagels (they'll toast them for you!) with cream
cheese/butter/jelly, muffins, cookies, packaged hot chocolate mixes, and of course,
bags of coffee (whole beans and ground) and tea in several varieties.<<
As has been posted here before, gift certificates or gift cards can be
purchased with your Palms' points for the buffet, coffee shop, Garduno's, Little
Buddha, the Palms Store, the Stuff Store, N9NE Steakhouse, Rain, the Ghostbar,
the Amp Spa/Salon (gift certificates are now good at either one), and Alize.
There is talk that soon all gift certifcates will be replaced by the more
convenient gift cards.

these kinds of strategies (aka selling comps) probably shouldn't be
publicized
for whatever reasons, casinos tend to take comp selling personally,
as if it's somehow morally wrong, and as a result, as soon as they
find out about them, they will shut them down as well as possibly
take action against those who have used them
just something to keep in mind
