I just thought it was really funny that you mentioned a slot attendant as a
source of information in your post. Not a VP of Operations, not a CFO, but a
slot attendant! As I said, very impressive source!
And I have no doubt that business is really slow in most US casinos these
days, compared to a couple of years ago. Perhaps the economy has something to
do with that? I spend about 50 hours/week in LV casinos, and I have seen it
firsthand. Many firings, layoffs, hour reductions, and other cost-cutting
measures.
