I would definitely choose the Eiffel Tower restaurant over Mon Ami if price
is no consideration. It would be the more Paris-like, and is a fine
dining experience. There is also a pretty good Steakhouse at Paris.
If you want to ignore the whole Paris engagement thing and just go to a
great French restaurant, I would choose Alize immediately instead! It is at
the top of the Palms, has a great view, has great food, and excellent
service. They've been having a recent special price fixed menu for around $45
which is a real bargain. If you choose the regular menu, figure around $100
per person including appetizers, desert, and 1 drink. The food is to die
for, but the view is even better. Go around 6-7 pm and see daylight and
then watch as night time comes. This is truly a memorable meal. They also
have an excellent wine list.
Recommendations recommended for Alize or Eiffel Tower.

Meanwhile my husband and I are celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in
a couple of weeks. We are using a freebie offer for the Luxor that came
out of the blue for 1 night upgraded room, $150 free play, and $100 food
(we'll go to the steakhouse). We are splurging and seeing The Lion King.
