... And all other things Las Vegas

You know, Tom, it's clear that we're getting the itch to venture into
topics that are far off the intended beaten path for this group.

While there are other general Las Vegas discussion groups, we've got a
really cozy group here and I suspect the quality of posting around
here would probably top that of most other groups.

Perhaps it's time for you to shepherd a companion group to augment the
activity here and provide an outlet for this non-vp chatter. Maybe
you could call it "vpFREE Style"?

Actually the results of 2 polls conducted by Tom in August 2002
suggests strongly that members want more than just video poker
discussed. I am referring to the over 70% of respondents who voted
in favor of having links to entertainment and dining reviews posted.
Clearly such articles encourage discussions of matters not directly
related to video poker.

A separate vpFREE group for non-vp chatter has some definite plus points,
and I have and will continue to consider such an option. But, for now it's still
on a back burner.

there really aren't any taboo subjects on vpFREE, and there have been several
non-vp posts that I haven't had a problem with. I'm a great believer in allowing
whatever, encouraging accurate subject lines, and liberal use of the delete key.
