I'd forget it & go on as there are probably many more times that you've put
your card in a card reader & you got little or nothing for it or it went to
someone else. (Examples, Pioneer, Laughlin WAS notorious for this; 50-play pt
screw-ups.) Also there are a lot of times when a program changes & you're not
notified of the changes which cause you to lose benefits that you thought were
still accumulating. (Example, Harrahs slot program change a few years ago where
players thought they were still banking pts but were actually losing them
after each trip.)
Under a strict interpretation you ought to give it back but I can't side with
the casinos on this one as they don't try to fix it when the mistake goes
their way. So you benefitted from a mistake but you didn't do anything to
exacerbate the situation via bribes, etc.
