An Honest Man

Yesterday we were playing VP in Harrah's, Kansas City, and took a
break for lunch. Lucky Lucy forgot to cash out her machine and walked
off leaving $200 credit. After lunch she started looking for her
cash-out ticket and, of course, couldn't find it. She contacted one
of the slot personnel and she said, "Yes, we know about it." A man
came sat down at the machine and fed it $200 then noticed a hand or
two later he had way too many credits. He called the casino personnel
and they cashed out the ticket. They viewed the security camera tapes
and determined who left the credits. All this took place while we
were at lunch. It took a few minutes for LL to get her money but she
did recover it. The man was still at the machine and he didn't get
his money (they cashed out all the credits when he called them) until
LL got hers. The casino gave him $25 for being a good guy and LL gave
him her thanks and much gratitude. It was my understanding if no one
showed up to claim the abandoned credits they would have been given to
the honest man. It is good to know there are a few good guys left in
the world.

I'm happy for you Rick and Lucy. A big thank you to the honest VPer. A classy thing for Harrah's to do also. Group hugs for everybody.
