An amazing run.......

Hello Everyone-

Since the passing of my father on 4/13 (yes, Friday the 13th),
weekends, without the distraction of work, have been difficult. It
has gotten easier over time, except for Father's Day (being single,
this was the first time I've had nothing to do- no brunch or dinner,
no golf or whatever- on Father's Day), but as a distraction, I have
taken Harrah's up on a number of their offers in Reno and Tahoe.
Living in the Bay Area, it's only about a 4 hour drive, depending on
traffic and stops. I have done this 4 times in the last 6 weeks, and
gotten a W2G each trip.

On 5/13- yes, exactly 1 month to the day of my Dad's passing- I hit a
royal (hearts, drew 2 cards) on the progressive bank at Harveys just
outside of the Poker Room, playing the Bonus Poker, for $4,571.00.

On 5/26, I was at Harrah's Tahoe, up $200 thanks to a good live poker
session on arrival, and thought I would throw $100 at the progressive
bank at Harrah's between the California Bar and the Main Pit area-
terrible pay tables, I know, but I only play DDB for alittle
entertainment when I'm up or close to even for the day, good paytable
or not. After hitting 4 2s, no kicker, within the first few hands, I
got 4 to the royal and hit the 10 of diamonds on the draw for
$4,636.00. It is amazing how many seats open up when the royal is
hit.

On 6/3, I was at Harrah's Reno, was up a little again, and tried the
progressive DDB bank in the west casino across from the High Limit
room. After quickly going through $80 of the $100 bill, I was dealt
4 Aces with a 4 kicker for $2,038.00.

And finally, on this last Saturday (6/23), I was down $300 of my $500
bank roll for the day and decided, because all of the 10 coin full
pay machines were busy (they have been moved in front of the east
casino cashier), I tried the full pay (JoB and BP) "Seven Stars Row"
bank between the sports bar and the cashier (Near the 10 coin
machines). Started out playing the JoB and lasted for quite awhile,
but after dropping back to even, I switched to the BP. Three hands
into that I caught 3 hearts to the royal and filled it in for
$4,000.00.

All I can think is that perhaps there is a new angel looking out for
me.

Over $15,000- quite a nice amount for me- I think maybe I should have
had them take some for the IRS this time, but I didn't think about
that until well after they paid me.

I'll be in Vegas on the 5th to the 8th- hope my good luck continues,
but I'm certainly not expecting anything more at this point. Maybe
that new angel will touch me one more time.

Thanks, Lee.

Congrats on a great run!

Hope it continues for your upcoming trip.

Excellent run, I would say you needed something like that, after

the heart break of your fathers passing. may your spirit stay high
as your Royals and your misery stay low and fate to a livable level.
Good luck in the future.
