ameristar 100 plays downgraded

I went to play my favorites, the 100 plays and found them downgraded
from 9/6 to 8/5 JOB. They were great while they lasted. My only play
left at ameristar is pick'm, there are ten of these machines left at
quarter level. I have never played this game but will give it a try.
Also if anyone could tell me how much bouncebask I could expect from
about 2 hours and 2k through pick'm per week at harrahs it would be
great. I have not played there in many years but may branch out. Also,
how about comps. Thanks for any help

I replied to this message earlier, don't know why it never showed up.
Anyway, Ameristar still has quite a few NSUD, 9/6 JoB, and 8/5 Bonus
machines at the 25 cent level. They are all 5-play and are located in
kiosks in the downstairs VP area and a few more in nearby bartop
machines. There are also 3-play in the same machines but they are
short pay.

Harrah's? Who knows? If you haven't played there for quite a while
you may get some great offers to lure you back. However, we only get
$15-$20 each per week bounce back and we are playing at the Diamond
level. Comp points are deposited into your "comp account" as you
play. You can use those comp points at any Harrah's outlet (food,
tickets, rooms, gift shop, etc) in any Harrah's property anywhere in
the US. We like this feature as we travel a lot. Comp points rack up
a lot slower than Ameristar, however, Harrah's KC is giving multiple
points on Fridays and Saturdays in December -- up to 7x. Harrah's KC
also gives cash back but it is pretty slim, about .01% for VP
(compaired to .25% at Ameristar (doubled to 1/2 percent Mon-Thrus).

Good Luck,

Rick

I know about the five plays at Ameristar but my bankroll is not
strong enough for this play, according to wizardofodds 5k would be
needed for my comfort level. The 100 plays were great because a 1 k
bankroll gave me just about the same risk of ruin as 5 k on the five
play JOB. I was also able to get in the star club with very low
risk.
It doesn't sound very encouraging at Harrah's but I may give it a
shot. Too bad I dont like to drive log distances, Harrah's near
Topeka gives great bounceback so I'm told.

We also play at Prairie Band once a month or so and can tell you
their
bounce back is not that great. They do have a few full pay AA and a
couple
Pick'em but everything else is trash. Prairie Band is also running
a
multiple point promotion on Mondays in December, up to 10x. But so
far we
have not been able to take advantage. They will also let you cash
out
points on Tuesdays, up to $200. The problem on these multiple point
days,
the pros (or semi-pros) literally camp out on the AA machines and
you can't
get close to one, at least at the dollar level.

We do occasionally get a cash back check from them but there seems
to be no
rhyme or reason to the distribution. They have a short expiration
date and
we have missed some because we couldn't make another visit in time
to cash
them. But Prairie Band is a good diversion once in a while. We
always take
or motorhome and spend the night in their pretty decent campground
(comped).
