American Casino Guide coupons

Early in January it was mentioned that this year's ACG requires the coupons to be removed from the book at the time they are used. Have any of you used these coupons? Are places requiring the presentation of the whole book?

If this is indeed the case, it might be very worthwhile for ACG to somehow modify next year's book so that the coupon section can be removed intact or something. Carrying that whole book around is going to be quite cumbersome.

Thanks to any of you that respond.

I just wanted to say I like your idea of the coupon section being
detachable. I've used mine this year but haven't questioned whether
they are enforcing keeping the coupons intact.... I just assumed.
Maybe someone in power will see your posting and get a hint?

They could do it like several other 'coupon books' that I've seen -- even here in Arkansas -- where they include a plastic 'wallet size' card with numbers printed on it to match coupons for various restaurants, and when you dine there they punch out the number on the card so that the same card can't be used in the same restaurant again. Simple, effective, and convenient.

Cheers.

We used the LV Hilton coupons for promotional chips without presenting
our books and there was no question or problem. Of course, we had to
show ID and our Connection cards and they spent some time on the computer.
