Am I playing this right?

Ok, so I am at Caesars AC yesterday and I ran into this senerio a few
times.

I am dealt: 7s-8s-9s-10s-Jd

Of course, mama always told me not to ditch a made hand to chase a
bigger hand (except for 4 to the royal I believe). I just want to make
sure I was right in keeping all instead of fishing for the 2 outs
needed for a straight flush.

Thanks in advance.

It depends on which game you where playing.

Playing 9/6 job you keep the 4 to the str flush.
Playing Bonus Poker you keep the straight.

Please provide us with more information.

What game were you playing? It wouldn't be a break in 9/6 Jacks,
unless there was a meter on the SF and that meter was real high. But
in Joker Poker it's a break.

Sorry, forgot to add, it was 9/6 JOB, no meter on the SF, only the RF.

I obviously am mistaken, You keep the str in 9/6 job.

Sorry for the mistake.

BTW, triple bonus + you would keep the 4 to the str flush.

If I'm not mistaken, Elliot Frome says to always break up the str8 and
go for the SF.
