I sure hope you are correct about their return elsewhere in the casino. The
AA machines were the main reason for my patronage of the River Palms. I
think their removal is bad business for the RP - they are always busy when I
go to play them. Is video poker dying a slow death all over?

Now this is bad news for me. I can scratch off one more reason to drive
the long distance to Laughlin. Perhaps- me being optimistic, they plan
on putting them in new improved non smoking casino section.

Well this six-pack of machines is the only AA I have ever played.
"Hamstockman" got me to play them when he was in town. Heck, I was up to about 400
hands/hr. I think I was the guy who first reported these "Keno-Plus" Gamemakers,
which were first by that south facing window. The slot club was still over
there.

This is a blow to ever seeing Hamstockman again in Laughlin. No AA and no
Pick Em is a detriment to motivation. Heck you can't even play Jokers anymore
in Laughlin.

Hopefully, his experience as a new member of the Pioneer's slot club will get
him back. Finishing 8th on his first try in the twice-weekly free VP tourney
should have some effect.

Anyway, RP is taking a different course. I am rooting for Pinnacle to take
over Ramada Express, not Columbia-Sussex.
