All American at RP

Took a day bus trip to Laughlin today. While at the RP I went to see
what management might have put in place of the AA's. And there was
them. All six All American up and running. Played 720 hands, got one
set of quads and thanks to a generous number of "forties" came out dead
even. So I have to ask -- were these six machines really gone in the
first place? And if so, why and whats been changed? Nothing that I
could spot.

Bus went to the Flamingo, now Aquarius. No fun book but did get a free
buffet. Host came on board our bus and explained a few of the on going
problems in the change over. As of midnight last Friday all machines
were supposedly to switch over to the Aquarius system. Well you now
how computers are. Host told us that some check-ins had to wait three
hours. Then she said that some machines were still not up and running
but she had been informed that they would operational later this
afternoon. Which was what she had been told on Friday (this was now
Tuesday). No not this afternoon, maybe tomorrow. Oh yeah, you have to
exchange your Flamingo players card for an ACE card. I can't give you
any details on this one as I didn't have a Flamingo card to start
with.
