There have been quite a few posts about how fair VP is in Ak-Chin.
Whenever the FUD (fear, uncertainty & doubt) factor is high, the best course
of action is to save your money for a trip to Vegas.
If you can't do that, then the "fix" is in. And I don't mean the machines at
Ak-Chin are "fixed". You're "fixed" on a gambling addiction.

I play at Ak-Chin on these machines. I must say that at times I
thought they must be gaffed. But I have had many great sessions, once
getting 2 royals in less than 10 minutes on the same machine.
(Freaked out the rest of the unknowing around me)
I also feel Harrahs won't do it and that the personnel are to dim to
understand that it needs to be done. These are old machines and they
would change the paybacks if they could (it would cost money) as they
have many new multi games with 9-7 in them. They told me that they
can't even get parts for them anymore, making it hard for them to
change the paytables. Also, I have NEVER seen anybody that even
remotely knows how to play them. Most of them are so bad that Ak-Chin
must be doing very good on these. They acknowledged that they are a
favorite of the players.
I have been up and I have been down, but I have never seen any long
term reason to believe that they are not fair. Of course with the new
system in place it is even more recreational than ever for me if I
keep going (I may not).
