I remember reading this was a good way to get downtown cheap. Arriving about
midnight next Friday. Need specific directions to follow at the Airport. Will
late arrival effect this option?

The 108 (?) bus run's every half hour until real late at night. I think that goes downtown. Theres another bus there too. You can get the schedule on the internet, but I forgot the site. Theres also a 101, but I dont know where it goes.
When you get your baggage, take a flight of steps or escalater downstairs to the "0" level. The bus stop is down there.
My wife and I did it on our last trip. It was a buck and a half a ride, and not too many crazy's on board.

"I think that...."

LOL. Real helpful! I am not trying to be mean and ornery, to bring
it up, but I was just tickled by it and wanted to share my thoughts..

Thats why theres google. I was only trying to help. My wife and I did use it in May, but only took it as far as the Hard Rock, so I didn't pay attention to where else it went. We found it on the internet thru google, so I guess they can too.

There are two lines that start at the airport. They
both end at the downtown bus terminal, one runs down
Maryland, the other Paradise. $0.50 with a token and
a senile citizen's pass, never crowded.

Go to "ground level zero" at the airport. Exit the building and look
for the bus shelter off to the right. It's unmarked, just a large
metal canopy and bench. Both the 108 Northbound (Paradise/Swenson)and
the 109 Northbound (Maryland Parkway) will take you to the downtown
terminal for $1.25/person. No change made, so have exact amount
ready. The terminal is about two short blocks from Fremont Street.
Buses run from the airport until around 1:30 AM. For complete
schedules, maps, etc. visit:

Hope this helps.
