It is common knowledge about the Wynn introductory offer of two free
buffets for relatively little play.

What exactly is the terms of this offer that is common knowledge?

From Scot Krause's Vegas Values Report for 1/8/06:

"Wynn Las Vegas: Offering a new member sign-up bonus. Earn 500 points
($4,500 coin-in on video poker) and receive two free buffets. The
buffet voucher is good for 48 hours and can be used for breakfast,
lunch or dinner. The Red Card slot club booth will give you a line
pass with it. #6505"

In late 2005, the amount of required coin-in was dropped to $450 for a
while. Unfortunately, that reduction has been terminated. There has
been some talk that the reduction may be reinstated in the near
future, but I don't know if that is based on anything other then
wishful thinking.
