Don't play to try to get 7 Stars - not worth it. But if you happen to reach
that level - great. The major advantage is that you get to the front of the
line at check-in, many restaurants, and sometimes even at events such as
tournaments. The already good level of service gets even better, with some
people almost kowtowing (bowing obsequiously) to you when they see the card.
The second advantage is the free trip for 2 people to any Harrah's location.
If this is a cross-country trip, plane fare could be worth perhaps $800.
You'll also get an invitation to 1 special 7 Stars party a month, with gift.
Not all that great (I didn't need another set of wine glasses last year, and
I didn't go this year to get a leather jacket, since I figured it probably
would be man-shaped rather than women shaped from other leather jackets I've
seen given out from Harrah's.)
If you are really close at the end of the year, you might want to play a few
thousand extra points to get it. But otherwise, don't play 10s of thousands
of points you weren't planning to play to get this level.
