So this is a pretty general question, I'm pretty new to video poker. I'm becoming obsessed with it quickly lol. Where can you get decent advantage plays outside LV? Is LV even the best place?
Advantage plays outside LV?
This is a tough question with no easy answer because there are so many variables to it. Las Vegas though is not necessarily the best place for video poker at the moment (unless you live there and do not have to incur travel costs) but the answer is always changing. It requires you to do research and work because most of the value is in the offers that you receive based on prior play. Some people want and value room and food comps, other people have little interest in room and food comps and are more interested in cash, tournaments and giveaways. You will have to decide what is of value to you and then take into consideration the video poker games that you know and availability of those games in a denomination that you are comfortable with. This will also require you to consider what your available bankroll is (on a daily and long-term basis) and also your comfort level with the losses that you will experience that are part of the game.

All of that makes sense.. So where are some other places where it's possible to get an advantage comparable to LV?

Any place that offers video poker that is a random deal may be a good play for you.
Here again you have to do the research to determine what is best for you. There is no one answer for all.
