Played a lot of JOB triple play at the Isle of Capri in Black Hawk Co.
this week. When we had a coin out jam or needed a fill, the attendant
usually brought up the stats page on the machine when they were
finished. The machine hold ranged from a low of 3.14% to a high of
3.86% on all of them that we were able to see. These games didn't have
any 100% plus schedules, but its obvious that the average
play is much lower than would be expected if everyone were playing
perfectly. Suppose one could argue that without advantage play the hold
percent would be higher, but they're not getting hurt on a overall
basis.

They may not be "getting hurt", but be thankful that hold is
reasonably in line with the overall 5%-6% hold on $.25 slots at
Blackhawk (as reported in Casino Player). In AC $.25 9/6 JOB is close
to non-existent these days. $.25 slots here hold 8%-9% on average.
When the casinos can get away with those payouts can you blame them
for failing to inventory decent JOB? (We lost our only $.25 9/6 JOB
triple plays just a couple of months ago when the last relatively
"loose" casino decided to tighten up.
