Administrative and Singer Threads - MOVED to FREEvpFREE

I'm going to address JT's post and then request
that FREEvpFREE be used for any further current
discussion of anything having to do with
Administration, Moderation, or Rob Singer. I'll
respond to any other messages in these threads
on FREEvpFREE.

FREEvpFREE:

Messages can be read on FREEvpFREE without becoming
a member, but you must be a member to post.

But is it broke. This list is controled by RS and his
made up supportive email names. Thing are quieting down
but... soon he'll stir the pot again and continue to
have his name in the lights (in order to get inuendo
publicity and sell his martingale pregession book)

Neither RS nor any of his aliases control vpFREE and
IMO the Singer situation is handled fairly, objectively
and effectively on vpFREE. It's unavoidable that a
few Singer posts will surface from time to time, both
pro and con, but extended, disruptive threads about
him or his systems aren't allowed.

And, I said "moderator(s)" There's nothing difficult in
having several moderators to watch for new posts to
reaarange subject headings on. I've managed Yahoo
groups for years, some with a couple thousand members.

Mandatory use of subject line labels has never worked very
well in other groups and IMO is a counter-productive practice.
I read every vpFREE message and have little difficulty in
immediately assessing their content. I'm very satisfied with
vpFREE's policy: "Every vpFREE message's subject line should
accurately identify the content of the message, to facilitate
faster navigation by interested or uninterested members."

Another alternative is we pick up our toys and go form a new
Yahoo group completly moderated to keep out this on going
harrasment. The original intent of the "FREE" in vpFREE was
to not have to pay my uncle bucks to talk about Video Poker. JT

That's always an alternative. If you leave us JT, I'll miss
your posts.

FWIW, semi-moderation, which is the way vpFREE works, was
decisively endorsed in a previous poll:
