Added Seven Stars Perks

Hi Gang:
I know there has been a lot of bitching, moaning and grousing about Harrah's
recently on various VP boards, but Hedy and I have been very satisfied with
the many perks we've gotten since we reached Seven Stars status with the Evil
Empire.
In fact,we recently got a new Seven Stars book with a laundry list of
updated perks. It advises that now when you use your yearly Seven Stars trip, you
not only get free airfare, room reservations and limo rides, you also get a
$500 credit to your account that's good for food, beverage or show tickets. It
must be used, however, during your trip.
The once-a-year birthday dinner has been bumped up 100 dollars to $500 and
you also now get a special gift that you can order online, from things like
wine coolers, golf putters, cameras, watches etc. Hedy and I just ordered a Sony
Cybershot digital camera. Harrah's AC is also having a special cocktail
party/dinner for Seven Stars members April 14 in which guests will get another
"special gift." Unfortunately, we will be away on a cruise for that one.
However, if you are at the Seven Stars level, I would ask my local Harrah's host
about these added perks.

To add to what was posted (thanks for that post),

Something that I really appreciate is that we now get to pick one
person each year to have a "companion card." That card lets them
access, lounges, lines and in general get 7-stars perks. My local
Harrah's made it a point to regognize our "partners," in my case, my
non-gambling husband, but not all sites would even let them in the
lounges without you bein with them every time.

A number of locations are adding 7-stars lounges as well.

I still love Harrah's. (ducking all the mud about to come my way)
